Hi Hesam Adrang,

Could you please be more specific? What are the problems you encounter while building your model?
If you want to learn how to model in ED please consider the ED tutorials:

Suppose we have a milling machine to produce pipes with specific diameter.
Pipe diameter: Normal (100, 0.1)
Cycle time: Triangular (0.7, 1, 1.2)
My first question is, where and how to write 4Dscript code for the pipe diameter with a normal distribution?

Sorry it was turning machine not milling machine.
Now, after turning, the parts are tested for quality control diameter every two hours.
In fact, every two hours we inspect 10 pipes randomly. If no non-conforming parts is not found, the lot is sent to the next stage else the entire lot will be inspected and only good parts are sent to the next stage and defective parts are sent to the waste storage.
non-conforming parts mean that we should produce pipe diameter in the standard range.
Standard range of diameter (USL & LSL): (upper bound=103 and lower bound=97) millimeters
Note: Consider the 8-hour working day.
Now my second question is, where and how to write 4Dscript code for this inspection?

Hi,

If you could post your model, and elaborate a bit more of the difficulties you encounter, this forum might be able to help you further.

Kind regards,
Menno
