When creating ODBC connections under a 64 bits Windows it can happen that the Access drivers are missing in the selection window of the ODBC management. This has to do with some difficulties with 32 and 64 bits systems.
This can be helped by going to:
a. go to control panel
b. -> administrative tools
c. --> select data sources(ODBC)
d. ---> then right click on that file
e. ----> go to properties
f. -----> in the shortcut tab
g. ------> set the path "c:\windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe" in the Target area.
Hopefully this helps,
Cheers,
Harry
