Hello,
A simple question, I'm recording the lead times in a data recorder by making it a variable (I can read it from the table), but how do I get the average of the lead times as an output when I'm running experiments in my experiment wizard?

Re: Data recorder Variable in Experiment Wizard
Any updates on this? It's a simple enough problem, but I've tried multiple methods, still doesn't seem to be working
Re: Data recorder Variable in Experiment Wizard
Hi,
You can do it using a 4D script in the exit trigger of the sink by updating the label that is used to calculate the lead time of the product in the system.
Then you can use this label in the Experiment manager.
Hope this helps your question.
Kind Regards,
Deena

Re: Data recorder Variable in Experiment Wizard
Hi Deena,
Thanks for this method, but is there no way to directly take the measurement from the data recorder and get the average of it in the experiment wizard? This doesn't just apply to lead time, but there are many things I am reading from the data recorders, so It would be nice if there was a way to read it directly from there onto the experiment wizard.

Hi!
Thank you for the question. Yes you can do that. Once you have the Average Lead Time in the label as mentioned previously, then you can record that label using the Data Recorder. Hope I have answered your question.
Kind Regards,m
