Hi,
Dear incontrol,
im fresh in using ED so i decided to model a operator-Network system. i tried it out but i had some problem with this model which i attached here. A serviceman is going to service 5 machines and he use a network to reach machines. each machine has a breackdown and repair time so after each repairing process , the operator must have became free to servic other machines. in model i build it does'nt happen appropriately. i'll appreciate your answer.

Re: problem with operator-network
Hi,
Instead of using FreeOperators(in(2,c),c) you should use: FreeOperators(in(2,c),first(c)). The operator is connected to the product within the server.

Hi marlies,
thanks for your answer. i changed 4Ds as you said. for a few minatus it works good but suddenly this message appear in Tracer window "incorrect job reference in statement freeoperators." then the operator stuck in a Machine and the whole line blocked. i didnt know what is wrong with the model so i attach the renovated model in hope of your help.

Re: problem with operator-network
Hi,
Yes, that's because you deselected the option "busy time" for the breakdown parameters. At this moment calling operators during breakdown is only possible when you take the following into account:
- It can only be used when the option "busy time" is selected.
- You should use the reference first(c) in the freeoperators function.
See attached model.
Regards, Marlies
