Hello!
I'm just about to learn Enterprise Dynamics and therefore I'm modeling a roundabout. Now I have some problems:
How can I model distances between the streets which come into the roundabout?
How can I model the speed of the cars?
How can I model that a car indicates the leaving of the roundabout?
How can I model an at least distance between the cars?
Am I on the right way with my model?
Thank You
Kind Regards

Re: Modelling a Roundabout
Hello,
to model a roundabout why don’t you use conveyors as streets where your cars drive?
This gives you the possibility to set distances (conveyor length, parts of the conveyor curves). You can implement as many curved parts as you like.
The speed is set on the conveyors; you can implement different speeds in the roundabout and on other streets around it.
You can set up the leaving of the roundabout with the send-to statements of the conveyor parts and for example with labels (destination = 1, 2, 3, 4).
With the spacing (spacing rule and gap) the distances between the cars can be adjusted.
Kind regards
