- Make sure your windows version has all the updates installed.
- Make sure all (video) drivers are updated either from the website of the computer manufacturer or graphics hardware manufacturer.
- Obtain the latest version of the INCONTROL Software.
If you still receive errors, there are some things you can try to have the system accept the visualization.
Cases related to visualization errors often contain the words OpenGL or dummy context followed by a GetLastError and/or Access Violation. the latest issue also mentioned the error occurred in ig75icd64.dll.
If you have performed the suggestions above, you can also switch off OpenGL4. You can do this in the preferences (Visualization | 3D | Performance) or (should you not be able to reach that) in the registry. The key involved is: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\INCONTROL Simulation Solutions\productname\X.Y\3D\OpenGL4. Set this DWORD to 0 to disable it. Also make sure fog is disabled.
If it still doesn't work, make sure you do not use any scale factor for windows but view everything on 100%. Some systems can switch to a medium zoom factor of 120% or 125%. You can view this in the control panel under Appearance and Personalization | Display (e.g windows 7) or in the Settings under Home | Scale and Layout (Windows 10).
