Tips/Commentaar PD

Post by TBrands »

- Building a pedestrian flow model > working with layers. Their are.... i.p.v. There are....
- Walking times > how low it takes.... ipv how long it takes.

- WARNING: At least Open GL 2.0 required.

Thank you TBrands for your comments.
For future posts, please write in English so global users can profit from it.

We will update the tutorial and correct the mistakes you mention.

Regarding the OpenGL warning, this is a check to see if OpenGL 2.0 is supported. It could very well be that the software works normally but running (specifically network optimization) a model can be a problem.
You option regarding switchable graphics as a BIOS setting is new to me. Can you give some additional information how this can be achieved?

I know of the issue where laptops can be equipped with multiple videocards where using the performance card is required for PD. This is described in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=284
