Re: Different speed limts and conflict in a network path for
Hello poso9384,
It is possible to limit the network in speed and capacity.
Have a look at the example model 'Network with Advanced Transporters'.
Here you will see that the speed is limited at the starting node of a section (for two sections).
When you double click a node, a GUI pops-up and you can ...

Re: Icons, *.jpg, Resource Manager
Adding images with the resource manager works fine within a certain session. As images are only automatically loaded when they are stored on an atom, they can appear missing generating errors. When you have added 10 images in the resource manager and only 3 remain, this means they are not registered ...

Re: Undeletable atoms
Hi Ecaterina,
It is not possible to set a property on a single atom that disables deletion.
Assignment to a layer is the only standard option to prevent this.
Best regards,
Matthijs

Hello StudenB,
The license has been activated so we gladly would like to receive some information from your machine.
Can you generate a CmDust log file and send this as PM to me?
To generate a CmDust file read the instructions here: http://www.wibu.com/faq-codemeter/s/detail/how-do-i-create-a ...

Re: Annoying bugs in 4DS-Editor
We have seen this behavior with Word and Excel as well.
The problem still exists in version 9.0 but will be solved in the next release.

Re: C# windows form error: COM class retrieving failed
Hello Fabio,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to use regsvr32 since the executable is not a component that can be registered this way.
Execution once with elevated administrative rights is the only option.
Regards,
Matthijs

Re: EDDev.exe: Execution Error
Hello Chiara,
Based upon the last line in your log, you are able to claim a license.
There seems to be some problem because of the line "Error: Sending of Answer failed (ET)!".
You best provide me with a full diagnostics log in order to see how you configured your machine and trace the error ...

Re: EDDev.exe: Execution Error
Hi Chiara,
What you see here is related to the license.
It's a network error. The failure is that no license (1002) can be found on Codemeter (dongle) or CodemeterAct.
Have a look at the 'Events' tab in the Codemeter Control Center. When you start the software, it should claim a license there like ...

I'm not sure what the cause for this problem is.
First make sure you run Enterprise Dynamics 9 with elevated administrative rights once (per user account) since Enterprise Dynamics 9 is a self registering COM server. This means other applications can locate and start it.
