Re: Queuing in PD
Oh thank you so much How did you find that agent got stuck there? I wasn't able to find it. I have another question. I want to run an evacuation in my model. The escalators must not be available during evacuation. Unfortunately, When I make them unavailable, the agents on them got stuck and don't mo...

Re: Queuing in PD
The problem with the Action Timer was solved. But regarding the first problem I did what you recommended... I was able to see the origin and the destination location in the error but I was not able to find the bottleneck of the route because other agents follow the similar route. So I couldn't find ...

Re: Queuing in PD
I want to simulate an evacuation situation in my model. I have considered the example evacuation models. In those models the direction of some of the passageways are "Unavailable". When the evacuation starts they become "Bidirectional". I have put some passageways of this type in...

Re: Queuing in PD
Thanks for running my file. I forgot to mention that I don't encounter the error every time I run the model. Some times it doesn't show any type of errors. Can you run it 3 or 4 times?

Re: Queuing in PD
What a BUG Thank you so much... I did what you said on my original file. It seems it works. I have just encountered error 1005 during my simulations... What is the main reason for this error? I have attached my final file.

Re: Queuing in PD
Thank you so much Marlies I couldn't understand exactly the first way you mentioned for my problem. How can I use "xabsloc(i, Model)" or " yabsloc(i, Model)" in the script box of the Location Approaching? Should I use them in another function? I also ran into trouble with my mode...

Re: Stairs and esclator
Hi
Does the PD have an "elevator" module? It should be a common component for such a simulation software

Re: Queuing in PD
I added 2 action areas near to the entering/exit area to your file. As you mentioned, the chosen route by some of the agents becomes too long in some cases. Therefore the problem exists but with less intensity... Is there a way to force the agents to choose the nearest possible point of the entry/ex...
