Re: Queuing in PD

Hi, Thanks a lot for your quick response
I wanted to see the difference between the speed of agents in the cases of regular movement and emergency evacuation, respectively. Can I use the Total Distance and the Travel Time in the output results to compute it?

Re: Queuing in PD

I have a question about the average speed of the agents. In the "Agent Profile" menu there are two fields to determine the minimum and the maximum value of the speed of and agent. How can I determine the average speed of an agent from these to values?

Re: Queuing in PD

Hi. I wanted to know about the data of PD new version release. Has it been determined or it has not been decided yet?
Thank you in advance :)

Re: Queuing in PD

Thanks a lot Marlies. It works very well ;)
So, it seems that generally it would be better to use Entry Triggers in the Activity Locations rather than in the Generators because it provides more flexibility in the model.
Please let me know when the new version is released. Thank you very much :)

Re: Queuing in PD

Thank you very much. I am looking forward to the new version release. When will it be released exactly? By the way I have encountered a new error during my experiments. When I increase the number of agent (Nr Agents) which should be generated in my last Generator (its ID is 8), I got an error and th...

Re: Queuing in PD

Thanks a lot. it works much better, but in the experiments the errors remain. Does the errors have effect on the output statistics of the model? I mean an agent may remain in the system until the running time of an experiment finishes

Re: Queuing in PD

I remember that I asked you about the PD error 1005 before. Is this error only related to the physical design of the model or it can have a logical root? for example I got this during my run: PD error 1005: No route found between start location (86.4089, 20.6301) at layer 1 and goal location (59.708...

Re: Queuing in PD

Thank you very much for your help. That was a good solution. Also I used a conditional statement for choosing the desired routes. That is, the agents choose their routes based on the layer on which they are located, when the evacuation begins. ;)

Re: Evacuation time analysis

Does each layer need a distinct waypoint activity location for collecting the time of entry/exits located on it? For example I have 6 layers each of which has its own entry/exit location. So do I need to put a waypoint activity location on each of them?
