Hello Chiara,
I fear my private message got lost somewhere. I tried to send a message again.
Regards,
Harry

Re: Out of memory
Ha Mark4589, That is a bit of a tricky error since it gives no indication at all to what is going wrong. Nor where it goes wrong. That makes giving help difficult. What you might be able to try is to put on the debugger and let it stop on errors. Perhaps that gives a better indication of where the p...

Re: Turning off input channels
Ha filipeg, You can make a connection from, for instance, incoming channel 2 of server 3 to the central channel (information channel) of Server 1. You can then write on the exit trigger like OpenInput(in(2, c)) which will open the input of the atom connected with incoming channel nr. 2. I hope this ...

Re: Destroying containers of the Stacker
Ha Chiara.
What version of Enterprise Dynamics are you running?
Can you share your model, so I can have a look at what is happening?
Thank you!
Harry

Re: Link Advanced Transporter and network
Hi Jastesem,
That normally means that the position where something needs to be dropped off is not connected with the network. So I would look in that direction.
Cheers,
Harry

Re: Link Advanced Transporter and network
Hi Jastesem, If you open the user interface of the Advanced Transporter by double-clicking on it, you see that there is on the first tab (General) under miscellaneous a button "Link to network". If you press this, an overview is given of all atoms within your model. Here you can select the...

Re: Optimization of the simulation speed
Ha Thore, I just did a small speed test and using the option where you write all data away at the end using the ActiveX atom is about 25% faster (on my laptop), then the option where I use the direct link with the data recorders. However, I also tried something else. Perhaps you can test it ( I can'...

Re: Optimization of the simulation speed
Ha Thore, I've now built in that there is an Event atom which is triggered 2 seconds before the end of the simulation (hardcoded!) and copies the data to an extra ActiveX atom. (here also the row and columns are set. I found that it is placed in labels which I also have to update). This ActiveX is s...

Re: Optimization of the simulation speed
Ok, that is quite a difference. Of course, I don't have your Excel file and am running with the data that is provided in the model and a self-made excel sheet to write the data away. Perhaps there is a difference. My laptop is a relatively new i7 with 2.8 Ghz, so that will make some difference. Ente...

Re: Optimization of the simulation speed
Ok, how long is one single run taking for you?
