Find the event
Hello,
there's any function that tells me how many times an event is called and by who?
I mean, there's a function that given the eventcode and the atom, it tells me every time that there is the string "createvent(x,atom, eventcode)" in the main entity?
Thank you,
Chiara

Re: Distance
Hi Harry, the trouble is that I don't really need the distance as final objective, I thougth I could use it to obtain the position in coordinates of an atom expressed in the cartesian system coordinates of the other. For example: Immagine.jpg I would know the coordinates of the black atom in relatio...

Re: Excel macro in ED
Hi Harry, I forgot to specify that yes, I'm using OLE commands in order to open and close excel. I would like to avoid providing the users an excel file togheter with the new library because of a simple reason: the probability that a user could delete for mistake the original file. Anyway, I agree w...

Excel macro in ED
Hello, I have to create an excel starting from different .csv files, where each .csv is required to be in a different sheet of the excel workbook. I tried to record the macro in excel (it's a connection between the file that I would like to do), but I can't find the right syntax in ED. This is the c...

Change main menu
Hi,
I would modify the menu interface in ED9. How can I add buttons and functionalities to the main menu? What are the files to edit? I tried to change the files in *\Documents\Enterprise Dynamics 9\Apps but nothing happened.
Thanks,
Chiara

Re: Distance
Sorry,
I didn't specify: I need the distance decomposed in xdistance and ydistance.
Can I calculate the distance by using "atomdistance" and then "sin"/"cos" functions in order to obtain the x/y component?
Thanks

distance between atoms in different containers
Hello, I have a question about distance between atoms. Functions like xloc and xAbsLoc give the position relative to the container of the selected atom, but there's a function able to return the position between atoms that are not in the same container? I tried to write my own function, a sort of ro...
