Re: flipped geometry normals

Ha Shibby, I fear this is an error within the .wrl functionality of ED. With the introduction of the ED 9 this problem will be solved, however that isn't helping you much at the moment... An option is to already flip your model in a 3D modelling program. That way ED will flip it again. Or you can, w...

Re: Inconsistent table read

Dear enterprisedynamics, I've had similar problems once and that was related to the copying of my data from Excel. It turned out that behind the data (the 10.8) some spaces were copied along. This resulted in ED interpreting the data as a string, and skipping the "." from the value. I hope...

Re: 3D

Ha Giovanni, What do you precisely mean with that it works in part? I've used Alpha maps before in 3D models that I've applied in ED and mostly had little problems with it, but sometimes they can cause trouble. To say if this is the case for you, I can't tell without the 3D model to examine. Is it p...

Re: 3D

Hello Giovanni, Mostly there is no problem with the implementation of a 3D-model including textures in ED. The problem therefore lies most likely in your 3D model, or the absence of the textures. Did you save the textures of the 3D model into the same folder as the 3D file is? If that doesn't help, ...

Re: A Movie Creator

Ha Giovanni,

That is a new one. Lets first cover the basics :-)
  • Can you tell me which texture is missing?
  • Did you unzip the directory and than copied it completely to the ED directory?
  • Can you otherwise post the error message?
Cheers,

Harry

Re: A Movie Creator

Ha Fabio, I understand what you mean and agree that sometimes its takes quite some tweaking to come to the result you desire. I've thought of a few ways to make it easier and tried to write them down (and also included it in the help files, so its the extended help where I quote from now, so its ind...

ODBC connections under 32 or 64 bits

When creating ODBC connections under a 64 bits Windows it can happen that the Access drivers are missing in the selection window of the ODBC management. This has to do with some difficulties with 32 and 64 bits systems. This can be helped by going to: a. go to control panel b. -> administrative tool...

Re: Full HD 3D Simulations

I'm not sure if i made myself clear enough: What is recorded is the inside of the animation window, so the information bar at the top and the bottom are not recorded and are deducted from your resolution. So only if you have a monitor with a resolution higher than full HD, you can record genuine Ful...
