Import in ED9
Hello, I recently switched from ED8.5 to ED9. With ED8.5 I created my own .app, my own pDir and consequently my library. My trouble is to import my .app in ED9. I tried to create a new package with my atoms but I received errors in preregister functions..and obviuosly, I lost the link to my pDir (re...

Re: Socket Communication
Hi Fred,
I'm glad to announce that we managed to receive communicate via socket, anyway I attache the program/command we are using.
Probably there was a problem with the cable used for the LAN connection.
Thank you,
Chiara

Re: Socket Communication
Hi Fred, all Firewall are disabled. We made the socket communication between 2 pc via LAN: the socket sender atom in the first pc was able to communicate with the socket listener atom in the second pc. By using the command prompt to send the message in the first pc, the socket listener socket didn't...

Re: Computing speed with strings
Hello, I did the transformation in values with excel and it's working great! I have another question, always about speed anc tables. The "matrixrepeat" function is faster than the "repeat" function in cells analysis, I suppose. This is true even if i have a 3000x1 table size, or ...

Computing speed with strings
Hello, I have a table into an atom composed by 3.000 rows and in columns I stored some dates. I have to question the table very frequently, so, to reduce the computing time, it's better to compares my dates with the "datestr" function or to store the dates in three different cells (ne for ...

Change coords
Hello, here's my question: how can I change coordinates in a function not called in 3Ddraw? I have to do what pushcoords and popcoords functions do, but not in the 2Ddraw. There's any function that could do it? I have to rotate an atom for an unknown angle that depends on another angle (depending on...

Load a new Library
Hello, I'm working on my model with a new library I created, but when I change the .lbr file I have to make attention on the sequence I tell ED to laod amtoms, in order to avoid loading errors on opening ED. If ED loads an atom that refers to functions written on an other atom I receive a message on...
