Re: Modelling group behavior
I already had these thoughts, too. Thank you for the answer! So i will not focus on groups in our model in the first run.

Modelling group behavior
Hello!! Does somebody know how to model a group of agents walking together across the environment? For example a family or a group of friends, is this possible?

Re: Problems with "Local Obstacle"
Thank you!! That's exactly what i needed! In my version i used "ActionTimer_UpdateAllConnectedLocalObstacles(c, BLOCKINGSIDE_BOTH)" and as i mentioned it just works in the opposite sequence (using "BLOCKINGSIDE_NONE"). Your idea to set the right settings immediatly and just use t...

Problems with "Local Obstacle"
Hello! :-) I used the local obstacle to block a certain area during the simulation run, but it doesn't work right: It just works the other way round. So i can block a certain area form the beginning of the simulation run and it opens during the simulation run (i.e. after 5 minutes). But i can't bloc...

Re: Incident element / incident object
Thank you for your email! I will resond on that. If we use a passageway instead of an opening maybe we will not get the desired result, because the passageway is reduced to one or two directions (forming a gateway) but we need "all directions". Think of an obstacle in the middle of an inte...

Hello Marlies, thank you for your help!! Both would be good and really useful. We want to start with the frist one: We tried to build such an object with a combination of an ActionTimer and an Opening . We connected the output channel of the ActionTimer with the channel of the Opening and set the va...

Futhermore i need such an incident object to represent fire or a bomb suitcase, so the agents should avoid coming too clo...

Re: Evacuation time analysis
Hello!
I can not open the attatched file with my pedestrian dynamics software! Some compile errors ... .
I would be really nice if somebody can write me the peace of code (4d script) from the settings of the action timer and the waypoint!
