send to logical function if
Hi, I'm having problems with a simple function in ED - send to strategy with if logical function! I need to structure a code by which each product (or batch) will go through a test: if product's time from EntryTime (in Server) till leaving the queue is < or = to 2 hours go to channel 1, else channel...

Re: throughputtime calculation
Hy Annas, I'm glad to help. Yes, experiment wizard is used to get multiple runs of simulation. You could use it but then you will have to make an automatic change of the row in Excel to write your data, and I'm not sure hot to do that with ED. You could also make it change by yourself by changing th...

Re: throughputtime calculation
Hello Annas, did you try with the Excel connection from the tutorial (for writing throughput times the following command can be set on the Trigger on Entry of the Sink: ExcelActiveX_Write(Input(c), 1, Age(i)) ? I have tried on your model and it works , but I'm also wondering how to get this report v...

Re: transportation problem
Dear Simon, this solves my problem, thanks. But now I have aditional questions regarding this model: (1) how can I run experiment wizard if I have defined number of products needed (e.g. for sink1 I need 380 products, for sink2 280, for sink3 180) and wondering for the total time needed for each sin...

Re: Help by simulatiom
Hi darek89,
see if this helps you. I made a model (name darek89.mod) how I understood your problem.
If not, explain a little bit more and maybe I can help you.
take care,
mgalic

transportation problem
Hi, I'm dealing with modelling and scenario simulation in civil engineering sector, and for the last month I’m working with ED9. I’m dealing with kind of problem which could be described as a transportation problem. For the sake of the discussion let say that if I have 4 sources and 3 servers and 3 ...
