4DS-Error on Startup

Hello,

when I start ED on my new working machine (i5, HD6750, 8GB, Win7 64) this error comes:

I don't noticed any effects but I guess it's better to solve the problem.

Any ideas? Thanks.

*bump*

Re: RotationSpeedAs for other axes

Hello BartC,

using Time is a very good idea. With that I've solved my problem.

Thanks!

Icon-Editor for ED-Atoms

Hello, I want to create my own icons for my developed ED-Atoms. So I just tried this: http://www.xiconeditor.com Unfortunally both the import to the editor and the export from editor to ED doesn't work well: The icons look broken (wrong pixels, no transparency) Before I try several tools to edit jus...

RotationSpeedAs for other axes

Hello, RotationSpeedAs is a good way to rotate an atom good looking around the z-axis. But how can I cylic rotate around other axes? My two approches are very nasty: 1.) Create events every 0.05s to increment an internal attribute and use it with RotateCoords on 3D-Draw. 2.) Use RotationSpeedAs but ...

Re: Wrong conveying on AAC with elevation

Ok... I was so happy that I see the right 3D-Results that I don't look on the 2D-Window: Now there are wrong conveyed products. The events to move the product to the next conveyor comes to late and the 2D-products don't overlapping the other products (The products should move into eachother in 2D be...

Re: Wrong conveying on AAC with elevation

Hello BartC, You were indeed right about the 3D visualization. There was nothing wrong with the moment at which the product was transferred to the next conveyor, but the speed of the atom was set incorrectly. I attached a new version of the AACs to this post, this will display the moment of transfer...

Re: Wrong conveying on AAC with elevation

Hello BartC, I created a model where the problem occure. The MoveAtom at the end of the both elevated conveyors comes to early -> the product jumpes. Thats why I guess it's someting wrong with the scaling of the elevation or so. The second problem (I guess both have effect on each other) is that the ...

Wrong conveying on AAC with elevation

Hello, If an AAC Straigth has an elevation the products are conveyed wrong in the 3D-visualization. The products run into each other and move to early to the next conveyor. I guess it's something wrong with the elevation scaling or so. Sensors are positioned right on a eleveated AAC and 2D is also f...
