Re: Low CPU utilisation and performance issues
Thanks, Matthijs, I tried stopping the calculations and writing to Excel and the performance indeed improved. However I can't seem to get the write block working, I also can't find anything about it in the tutorials or the help section of ED is there somewhere that I can find more information on how...

Re: Low CPU utilisation and performance issues
Hi Matthijs, Sorry for the late reply i have been very busy as of late and forgot to check. To answer your questions, With excel open I do see the label values being written. I am running at unlimited speed, this also occurs when running with the experiment wizard. I tried attaching the Excel but it...

Low CPU utilisation and performance issues
Hello everyone, At the moment i am running a pretty simple model but i am running into some performance issues. Just to explain i already tried optimising my data collection a little bit by not writing data to excel when a atom moves to a new station and am instead recording it internally in a label...

Re: Crashing of model after about 1500 hours of simulating
I fixed the problem!
I didn't know about the lock and unlock flow control atoms. I used those to produce the same function as the 'cards' looping around. Thank you for your help!

Re: Crashing of model after about 1500 hours of simulating
Thank you Gabe-Hein, I am already using labels to store and get some information from the model however I am just using the atoms to dictate when they can be released. I don't prefer to do it this way... maybe there is a way to let a server tell the source when it can release a product? Then I don't...

Crashing of model after about 1500 hours of simulating
Hi everyone, The problem that I am experiencing is as follows. I made the attached model in ED after a few iterations. The process that I am modeling is pretty slow so I wanted to model it so I could test different ways of setting up the process and see what might change in output and throughput. Th...
