Schaal plattegrond

Post by Arno1994 »

Hallo,

Hi Arno,

I will reply in English as this might be useful for other users of the community as well.

To determine the right scale of your background, it is important to know what the size should be of at least 1 part of your environment e.g. a wall or a door.

Then, when you select Draw in the 2D Builder window, the last option to the left is the Tap measure tool. Select the line option and add a line to your model and give it the required sized of your reference object (the wall). Then scale your background until the sizes of the reference object and the measure line match.

Hi,

When you need to zoom in, it is very likely that the scale of your drawing is not correct.

You can find out the required scale by measuring the size of an element in your drawing you know (e.g. a door, a wall) and compare to what is should be. If it is 10 times smaller then the scale factor should be 10.

See my previous post for explanation on the Tap measure tool.
